YOUR GUIDE INSIDE: SUPPORT FOR THE ANXIOUS CHILD
Many of our children are experiencing heightened levels of anxiety and parents often feel ill equipped to help them effectively. They are left wondering how best they can support their child, knowing that ‘don’t worry’ platitudes will have little impact and that their child’s worries might have no logical basis.
But if we look at it from a different perspective and have an understanding of where our life experiences come from, we can see that many of our problems are a product of our thinking and having lost touch with our own inner guidance. We believe that the key is to help children reconnect with their inner wisdom (my guide inside!) which is ever-present and a fabulous resource for all of us (both children and adults).
My colleague, Alex Waters, and I are interested in supporting both parents and children to re-acquaint themselves with their inner guide. Alex has extensive training and experience working with children’s emotional and mental health needs and also in the field of alternative health. Read more about her experience here (http://www.3principleswales.com/education.html).
For myself, I have training in alternative health, education and am a qualified Spiritual Companion as well as having training and experience in the 3 Principles – you can read more about me below or elsewhere on this website.
If this sounds of interest and you would like to explore further, join us on this unique half day course for parents and children in Lampeter on 10 February where we will introduce these ideas. It will be a supportive, creative and fun workshop. Parents and children will be enabled to explore these aspects separately and then come back together to share their discoveries. The intended outcome is to generate a clearer understanding of how to access our own inner guides.
In the video below, head teacher Peter Anderson, who has himself trained in the 3 Principles, speaks about their use within his school.
And here’s a little bit more about us and what we will bring to the day. We look forward to sharing the day with you. Please email Chris asap if you are interested, as there are only 10 places on offer for what could be a life changing event for your anxious child.

I have been profoundly interested in what makes us tick as human beings for the last 30 years. This exploration has seen me qualify as a Homeopath, a Reflexologist, and a Teacher and I have delved deep to follow my own spiritual path.
Some years ago I came across The Three Principles as expressed by Sydney Banks and therein discovered a profound explanation of how our thinking can take over our lives completely. At the same time I have also trained with William Bloom as a Spiritual Companion and now feel called to share these understandings as a spiritual support and benevolent presence for others.

3 Principles Facilitator
After more than 25 years of working with individuals, groups, communities and businesses in the field of mental and emotional health and personal development I felt incredibly lucky to have happened upon the 3 Principles for myself (ironically through my own experience of burnout!). I subsequently trained as a 3 Principles Facilitator at The Insight Space and I am proud to now be a mentor on this wonderful course. I am also on the 3PGC practitioner list – a global community of practitioners.
Since 1990 I have specialized in devising and facilitating workshops and training for schools/communities/organisations around mental and emotional health and wellbeing.
